Media Publications in physical form: paper, electronic data carriers, microforms

The media publications in physical form falling under the collection mandate include all text-based and audio-visual representations which are distributed on paper, electronic data carriers and other carriers. The media publications should be submitted

• in their entirety and in perfect and unused condition 
• in the version commonly available on the market (if multiple versions are available, the most durable)
• complete with binders etc.
• complete with annual title pages, tables of contents, indices and 
• together with all other items which belong to the main work being submitted

All details required for bibliographic indexing of the media publications should be communicated to the German National Library. In the case of journals, a completed bibliographic note should be submitted along with the first issue.
