MARC Workshop
11 - 12 July 2005
Preparing for a migration to MARC 21 the expert group for data formats recognised the need for broader and deeper knowledge in MARC 21. The idea arose to organize a workshop for a wider group of participants. Mr. Randall Barry from the Library of Congress in Washington was invited and agreed to prepare and perform the workshop.
The first day consisted of an introduction to MARC 21 by presentations, whereas the second day gave the chance to get into details and discuss issues in a smaller circle of experts.
