Workshop for vendors of library systems
The German National Library organised a workshop for developers and vendors of library software as part of the project "Internationalisation of the German standards: Moving to MARC 21" on September 26, 2007. Besides the members of the expert group, colleagues representing the library networks as well as the vendors community accepted the invitation of the Office for Data Formats and the Expert Group Data Formats. Representatives of the companies aStec, BiblioMondo, BOND, DABIS, datronic, Ex Libris, GLOMAS, LIB-IT, Littera, MSC, OCLCPICA and SirsiDynix took the opportunity to catch up on the status of the format moving preparations and to inform others respectively as well as to discuss selected topics intensely.
