Changes in data services

The Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (German National Library) offers the following data packages in machine-readable form via the WWW or FTP. The services are supplied in the MAB format, in UNIMARC or MARC 21. The series listed in the Deutsche Nationalbibliografie and the New Release Service are also available in ISBD format as HTML version.  Files with test data are available.

• German Union Catalogue of Serials (ZDB)
• Casalini libri (new Italian publications and translations from other languages into Italian)
• British National Bibliography
• Catalogue data for the microfiche editions published by the Saur-Verlag   
• Catalogue data for the microfiche editions published by the Verlag Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst 
    

The retrospective selection of specific data records is possible

• via Datenshop  
• ISBN selection (selective sharing of individual data records via the ISBNs of the desired publications).
