Congress Centre of the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek in Frankfurt am Main

The Congress Centre of the German National Library in Frankfurt am Main is characterised by the atmosphere of literature and the culture of books. The attractive glass fronted congress centre offers a fine setting for receptions, presentations, advertising events, seminars, press conferences and many other occasions. The ensemble consists of a lecture hall and a meeting room connected by a spacious foyer.

For special occasions we propose the rental of the conference room on the management floor with view across the Frankfurt skyline.

The congress centre can be used independently from the libraries opening hours.
All rooms are accessible for disabled persons. An underground car park with about 260 parking spaces is open for the guests.

Lecture hall

The ground floor on 351 m² seats up to 300 people; additional 75 seats are located on the gallery. The hall is laid out for multiple purposes and can be adapted to parliamentary or row seating. A fixed stage rises on the front side. The hall is equipped with modern conference technique. A special acoustics ceiling makes the hall also very suitable for music events.

 

Meeting room

The representative meeting room is suitable for smaller conferences with up to 18 persons. The eye catcher in the middle of the room, the table, is surrounded by designer chairs and was made to measure and covered with black leather. Being situated right next to the lecture hall it offers an ideal environment for accompanying activities to a conference.

 

Foyer

The foyer covering 195 m² is an ideal location for receptions and catering events as well as for films and photo shootings. To one side an elongated glass front allows the view onto the square in front of the library. To the other side one has a view into the entrance hall with the sculpture "Armalamor" by Georg Baselitz.

Catering

The restaurant "Piazzetta" of the German National Library caters for any kind of function.
