Ordering literature

from the collections of the German National Library for consultation in the reading rooms

The German National Library offers the possibility of ordering literature via Internet. In the regulations for use following procedures are laid down:

• Readers must have a qualified interest (scientific, professional).
  Some types of literature are made available only upon submission of written proof.
• No more than 10 books may be reserved for user at one time. 
• Books that have not been called for within one week are returned to the stacks.

There are slight variations in the regulations for using the individual locations.
