User service in Leipzig
Access to publications starts with a search in the Catalogue. The research is possible at any workstation.
Having found the signature of a desired publication, the
user can order it online for use in the respective reading
room.
Some 60,000 publications of the reference library are
available for direct use in the humanities, natural science,
medical and technology reading rooms. In addition, users have
access to the bio-bibliographic reference library of the
information service and to special collections.
In the periodicals' reading room the latest issues of about 1,800 journals of all faculties are available for consultation.
The use of the Internet free of charge is possible with a
valid user card via WLAN and via Internet stations in the
reading rooms.
